Job summary

Artisan Design Group is seeking a Showroom Coordinator to join our Middleton showroom, with shifts across Middleton and DeForest locations. You will greet customers, assess needs, and direct them to the right salesperson while maintaining a welcoming retail environment.

This full‑time role reports to the Store Manager and requires 6+ months in retail with English communication skills; duties include showroom upkeep, product knowledge, and basic payments handling during showroom hours, including

Qualifications

• 6+ months of retail customer service experience.
• 6+ months experience with customer management software preferred.
• Education or work experience in interior design preferred.
• Familiarity with computer applications (email, spreadsheets).
• Previous experience using Microsoft Office daily preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds without restriction.
• Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
• Basic math skills to handle payments and orders.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist all customers promptly.
• Assess customer needs and direct them to the appropriate salesperson.
• Checkout product samples to customers according to policies.
• Maintain traffic log and ups system.
• Process payments and input basic cash and carry orders.
• Attend product knowledge and in‑house training meetings.
• Ensure showroom clean‑up prior to store opening.
• Complete front desk closing procedures at end of day.
• Order replacement showroom samples as needed.
• Update showroom pricing as directed by Store Manager.
• Assist in accessorizing showroom displays.
• Assist the Store Manager in organizing samples and creating an inviting retail environment.
• Follow and enforce all safety policies and procedures.
