Burlington Stores, Inc. is hiring a Shortage Control Associate to actively deter theft and ensure a safe shopping environment while delivering excellent customer service.

You will engage with customers with a confident greeting, monitor entrances, and support training on shortage reduction programs. The role emphasizes collaboration with store leadership, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, Asset Protection, Loss Prevention, or Operations preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time and visually monitor store environment.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to safety and security standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entrance and high-risk areas to reduce opportunities for theft and maintain a secure environment.
• Greet customers entering/exiting the store with a confident, friendly, energetic greeting.
• Identify and report theft incidents or suspicious subjects to the Manager on Duty.
• Provide support in training associates on shortage reduction programs and safety practices.
• Work with store leadership to uphold Burlington's loss prevention policies and procedures.
