Job summary

American Cruise Lines seeks an Excursions Director to lead shore excursions, explorations, and adventures across our ships for the 2026 season. You will engage guests in port calls, represent the brand, and ensure seamless operations and memorable experiences.

Responsibilities include coordinating with vendors, briefing guests, managing inventory and logistics, promoting onboard sales, and upholding safety in a demanding, long-hour working environment aboard multiple cruises.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, tourism, or event management preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong public speaking skills and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Arrange, confirm and adjust shore excursions, explorations and transfers.
• Be well-versed in cruising region, ports of call and excursions offered.
• Accompany guests on daily excursions as brand ambassador and company representative.
• Coordinate logistics with vendors, coach companies and ground operators for timely service.
• Socialize with guests and present excursion briefings at cruise start.
