Job summary

American Cruise Lines is seeking an Excursions Director to lead shore excursions aboard our ships for the 2026 season. You will manage excursions, vendor communications, and serve as brand ambassador with guests across destinations.

This role requires high guest interaction, long hours, and travel aboard vessels; you will need energy, creativity, and collaboration to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in hospitality, tourism, or event management is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Strong public speaking skills.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Arrange, confirm and adjust all shore excursions and transfers.
• Be well-versed in cruising region, ports, and excursions offered.
• Accompany guests on daily excursions as a brand ambassador.
• Coordinate logistics with vendors and ground operators for timely service.
• Accommodate guest requests, including personalized arrangements.
• Promote onboard sales and brand loyalty program.
• Report status to Home Office on cruise performance.
