Job summary

American Cruise Lines is seeking an Excursions Director to lead shore excursions aboard our ships for the 2026 season. You will manage all excursions and transfers, act as a brand ambassador, and coordinate with vendors to ensure top-tier guest experiences across ports of call.

The role requires energetic leadership, superb guest service, and the ability to work long hours in a dynamic shipboard environment. A hospitality background and TWIC credential are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, tourism, or event management preferred.
• Strong public speaking and guest interaction skills.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail."

Responsibilities

• Arrange, confirm and adjust shore excursions and transfers.
• Be well-versed in ports of call and excursions offered.
• Accompany guests as brand ambassador on daily excursions.
• Coordinate logistics with vendors to ensure timely service.
• Present detailed excursion briefings at cruise start.
• Communicate excursion changes to guests and home office.
