Cox Fleet is hiring a Shop Trailer Mechanic I for an on-site shop role. You will perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, light repairs, and assist more advanced technicians as needed. A dedicated on-site position with potential for growth within Cox Fleet's nationwide mobile/center network.

This role emphasizes safety, accurate documentation, and meeting repair times while working with standard shop tools and Karmak applications. Strong tool-handling and DOT compliance are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must supply hand tools for job duties.
• DOT/FMCSA compliance and safety training required or pursued.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and PM on trailers and vehicles.
• Conduct routine maintenance such as oil checks and lubrication.
• Accurately document work on Repair Orders with photos.
