Job summary

Hugg & Hall Equipment Company is seeking a Shop Service Tech to diagnose and repair material handling and construction equipment at the local branch. You will work with the Service team to restore units to operation and safety standards.

This role focuses on hands-on mechanical work, clear updates to sales, coordinators, managers, and customers about downtime and progress, and safe work practices with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of mechanical training/education and/or related field experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain equipment operator certifications.
• Ability to read or be trained in reading schematics.
• Above average communication skills.
• Possessing or ability to obtain complete line of tools.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a variety of equipment at the local branch to restore operation and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to minimize downtime.
• Communicate with Sales, Coordinators, Managers, and Customers about downtime and job progress.
• Operate in a safe, efficient manner with minimal supervision to decrease equipment downtime and maintain safety standards.
