Job summary

Hugg & Hall Equipment Company is seeking a Shop Service Tech to diagnose and repair material handling and construction equipment at the Fort Smith, AR location. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and teamwork within the Service department.

Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year of mechanical training or related experience, and possess or be able to obtain the required tools and equipment operator certifications. Strong reading of schematics is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of mechanical training or related experience.
• Ability to obtain or possess the complete line of tools.
• Above-average communication skills.
• Ability to obtain equipment operator certifications.
• Ability to read or be trained to read schematics.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment at the local branch to meet safety standards.
• Communicate downtime and job progress updates with Sales, Coordinators, Managers, and Customers.
• Operate safely and efficiently with minimal supervision to reduce downtime.
