Job summary

Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) is seeking a Shop Administrative Technician III to provide administrative support, data entry in the Maximo CMMS, and procurement activities across MDTA facilities. You will generate work orders, manage records, and assist with inventory and filing in a centralized system.

The role reports to the Intelligent Transportation Systems Manager or designated officials, with vacancies in Baltimore County and Prince George's County.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Two years of administrative support or storeroom/supply experience.
• Typing speed of at least 20 words per minute preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform data entry into the Maximo CMMS and report issues to supervisors.
• Generate work orders and reporting for managers.
• Maintain vehicle unit numbers and update central databases.
• Prepare and review purchase orders and purchasing card logs for GL accounts.
• Procure materials, supplies, and services using State contracts.
• Prepare paperwork for annual inventories and fixed assets in Maximo.
• Organize and maintain personnel files and timekeeping records.
