Motion Industries (MOT) is seeking a Shop Operations Manager to develop, manage, and deliver support services for the shop, acting as a liaison between customers, sales force, shop staff, and distribution. The role emphasizes inventory management, pricing control, and timely order processing to ensure smooth shop operations.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED with 5+ years of related experience, strong Microsoft Office skills, and demonstrated leadership and financial acumen.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 5+ years of related experience or equivalent combination.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to perform financial calculations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to all levels of employees.
• Industry and sales experience preferred; leadership experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all shop support activities at the location.
• Train staff on sales systems, databases, and processes.
• Provide customer support including order processing and delivery date updates.
• Manage pricing per established policies and the collections process.
• Handle Accounts Payable for the shop and prepare reports as needed.
• Oversee inventory levels and replenishment to meet turn goals.
• May assist other lower level roles and handle other duties as assigned.
