Job summary

Motion Industries seeks an Operations Manager to oversee branch sales support, train staff, handle customer orders and pricing, and manage accounts payable and inventory. The role interfaces with customers, the sales force, and distribution to ensure smooth operations.

The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, communication skills, and experience in sales-driven environments. This on-site position requires meticulous reporting and cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED and five or more years of related experience.
• Experience leading sales support and coordinating with multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch sales support activities.
• Train sales staff on systems, databases and processes.
• Handle customer support including orders, shortages, delivery dates and pricing.
• Manage pricing per policy and oversee accounts payable/collections.
• Prepare reports on inquiries, trends, complaints, delivery and service issues.
• Manage inventory levels to meet annual turn goals.
• Fill in for other branch roles as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
