Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to lead a fast-paced team on the shop floor. You will support the Shop Manager with daily operations, staff development, and delivering a fast, friendly customer experience.

Qualified candidates have at least 6 months of customer service and leadership experience, with a focus on safety and operational excellence. The role includes training, opening/closing duties, and opportunities to advance into leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months’ customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to following and maintaining safety policies and practices.
• Reliable transportation to and from work location.

Responsibilities

• Complete the Certified Technician training.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when needed by coordinating workflow and guiding the team.
• Model fast, friendly customer service and respond to customer needs.
• Ensure services are completed accurately while reinforcing procedures and safety standards.
• Support shop performance by identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Train new team members with real-time coaching and feedback.
• Perform opening and closing procedures and assist with inventory counts.
• Support shop communication, reporting and operational follow-up.
