Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring an Assistant Shop Manager to support daily operations, team development, and a fast, friendly customer experience. Automotive experience is valued but not required, with paid, hands-on training to learn Take 5 standards.

The role includes stepping in as Manager on Duty, keeping the shop safe and efficient, and helping lead the team through busy periods with strong communication and coaching.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of customer service experience in a fast-paced service environment.
• Minimum 6 months’ experience leading, coaching, or mentoring others in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to following facility and safety policies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coach and give feedback.
• Initiative, accountability, and staying organized during busy periods.
• Ability to meet age and certification requirements and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor team members to deliver fast, friendly service.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when needed and coordinate workflow.
• Ensure services are completed safely and to company standards.
• Train new team members and provide real-time feedback.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and inventory counts.
• Support shop communication and reporting for daily follow-up.
