Job summary

Cox Fleet is seeking a Shop Diesel Technician II to perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, light repairs, and diagnostics in a shop setting. You will work under supervision to gain advanced skills and meet performance metrics.

The role requires hands-on work with various truck equipment, adherence to safety policies, and occasional travel to customer locations. ASE certifications and a valid driver’s license are preferred, with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; 3 years' related field experience or 5 years' related field experience alternative.
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain/maintain Driver Qualification File.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and preventative maintenance on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles.
• Conduct light mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronic diagnostics and follow-up repairs.
