Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Shop Diesel Technician II to perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light to mid-level repairs in a shop setting. You will diagnose issues, work with service writers, and maintain documentation for repairs and maintenance.

Requirements include a HS diploma or GED and a valid DOT card or ability to obtain one. ASE certifications are preferred and toolsets provided by the company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with related field experience considered.
• Valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform licensed DOT inspections and preventive maintenance inspections.
• Carry out light and follow-up repairs, diagnostics, and routine maintenance.
• Document findings on Repair Orders and communicate with service writers.
