Job summary
Cox Fleet is currently hiring a Shop Diesel Technician II to support growth. You will perform licensed DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light to heavy repairs, including electrical and hydraulic diagnostics. Work under supervision of senior technicians and continually advance your diagnostic skills.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 3 years' related experience, or 5 years' related field experience.
- DOT pre-employment background screening and DOT physical may be required.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel if needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform licensed DOT inspections and preventative maintenance on light to heavy-duty vehicles.
- Diagnose, repair and test electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment and document work orders.
- Collaborate with Service Writer to assess customer needs and estimates.
- Adhere to safety policies, OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
