Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Shop Diesel Technician II to support growth. You will perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light repairs on light to heavy-duty trucks in a shop setting. You will diagnose, assist with complex repairs under supervision, and maintain documentation via company systems.

The role emphasizes safety, productivity, and adherence to policies while developing advanced mechanical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field (or 5 years' related field experience).
• Valid driver's license and ability to obtain Driver Qualification File.

Responsibilities

• Perform licensed DOT inspections and PM inspections.
• Light and follow-up repairs in a shop environment.
• Diagnose using electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Maintain clean and safe work area and document work on RO and Karmak.
