Job summary

Cox Fleet is hiring a Shop Diesel Technician II to support DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light-to-medium/heavy-duty repairs in a shop setting. You will perform diagnostics, follow safety standards, and coordinate with the Service Writer to address customer needs.

The role requires a HS diploma/GED and 3+ years in related work, with DOT compliance and a valid license. Expect day shift, on-site duties, and potential travel to customer locations as needed.

Qualifications

• DOT inspections and PMs required for fleet maintenance.
• HS diploma/GED and 3+ years in related field preferred.
• Must hold and maintain valid driver’s license and safety certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled PMs for light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles.
• Conduct DOT inspections and follow-up repairs as needed.
• Diagnose using tools and shop equipment; document findings in RO and Karmak system.
