Cox Fleet is currently hiring a Shop Diesel Technician I to join our team in Allentown, PA. This role focuses on performing DOT inspections, preventative maintenance inspections, and light repairs in a shop setting. You will work under supervision to handle more advanced tasks and learn additional skills from senior technicians.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months is required.
• DOT pre-employment screening and DOT physical required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Own set of hand tools needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and preventative maintenance inspections.
• Carry out light, medium, and some heavy repairs under supervision.
• Maintain safe work environment and document work orders accurately.
• Coordinate with Service Writer and parts to obtain approvals and parts.
• Follow safety policies and regulatory requirements.
