Cox Fleet is seeking a Shop Diesel Technician I to support our growing team in Allentown, PA. You will perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light repairs, with opportunities to learn more advanced mechanical skills under supervision.

The role emphasizes safety, accurate documentation on repair orders, and collaboration with service writers to meet customer needs and schedules. Weekly pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and up to 2 years’ related experience.
• Must possess and supply hand tools necessary to perform required duties.
• DOT/FMCSA regulations compliance and pre-employment DOT screening.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and Preventive Maintenance on light/medium/heavy duty vehicles.
• Assist in normal repairs and follow supervision for advanced work.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and document work on RO.
• Communicate repair estimates with service writer and obtain approvals.
