Shop Diesel Technician I will perform DOT inspections, Preventative Maintenance inspections and light repairs, and other duties as assigned. More advanced repairs may be done under supervision of higher technicians.

Work is routinely audited for quality. You will follow company policies and strive for high performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• DOT pre-employment background check and DOT physical required.
• ASE T8 (PMI) certification within 18 months.
• Ability to lift and perform moderately heavy labor for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and PM inspections.
• Carry out light repairs under supervision.
• Maintain clean, safe work environment and document work.
• Interact with Service Writer to assess customer needs and estimates.
