Cox Fleet is currently hiring a Shop Diesel Technician II to support growth. You will perform DOT inspections, preventative maintenance, and light to mid-level repairs in a shop environment, with potential travel to customer locations.

The role emphasizes diagnostic work under supervision to build advanced skills. Applicants should have a HS diploma or GED with related experience, a valid driver’s license, and their own hand tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' related experience; or 5 years' related field experience.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to obtain Driver Qualification File.
• Own set of hand tools required for job duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform licensed DOT inspections and preventative maintenance inspections.
• Carry out light, medium and heavy-duty vehicle diagnostics and repairs.
• Document findings and parts used in the RO system; upload photos as required.
