Bloomingdale's is seeking a Shoe Operating Assistant to elevate the customer experience on the selling floor and in back-of-house operations. You will act as a player-coach, driving service standards, managing stock, and supporting a collaborative team in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role emphasizes relationship-building with customers and peers, with opportunities to mentor staff and contribute to store performance. A high school diploma and 1–2 years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage with management, coworkers, and clients to provide an outstanding customer experience.
• Lead customer experience initiatives within the department and coordinate with leadership.
• Support 4-to-the-floor initiative and store stocking layouts.
• Partner with Business Manager on sales-driven initiatives and observations.
• Communicate workload progress daily with supervisor on challenges and accomplishments.
