Job summary

Caleres’ Famous Footwear brand is seeking a Sales Associate who loves shoes and creating memorable in-store experiences. You’ll help customers find perfect fits, maintain a clean, organized floor, and stay informed about trends to boost engagement.

As a team player, you’ll contribute to a welcoming store culture, support inventory tasks, and participate in training to grow with the brand. A flexible schedule is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Ability to build constructive relationships with store staff.
• Strong communication with store associates at all levels.
• Must exercise independent judgment with Store Sales Manager as needed.
• Strong working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively within a team.
• Flexible schedule to meet business needs, including holidays, nights, weekends and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily store tasks like pricing, shipments, fulfillment and inventory are dialed in.
• Keep the store clean, organized, and all famous styles easily shoppable.
• Deliver stellar customer engagement and uphold the Famous culture.
• Review store performance and drive sales with purpose and urgency to achieve goals.
• Communicate clearly and timely with the store team; practice active listening.
