Job summary

AO Swag, a fast-growing online store solutions provider in Coppell, Texas, is seeking a Shipping Team Lead to oversee daily shipping operations. You will lead the shipping team, ensure orders are processed, packed, and shipped accurately and on time, and coordinate with Production, Customer Service, and Management to maintain high-quality shipping standards.

You will work Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm, with overtime during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in shipping, warehouse, fulfillment, or similar fast-paced environment.
• Previous team lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of shipping, packing, labeling, and order fulfillment processes.
• Experience with shipping software, ERP systems, or carrier platforms preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy.
• Effective communication and team leadership skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple orders and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Shipping team to meet daily targets, deadlines, and service expectations.
• Coordinate daily job assignments and workflow to maximize efficiency and ensure orders are shipped on time.
• Oversee the accurate picking, packing, labeling, and processing of customer orders.
• Verify orders for accuracy, including quantities, products, shipping addresses, and shipping methods.
• Monitor shipping progress and prioritize orders based on deadlines, carrier schedules, and business needs.
• Train team members on shipping procedures, quality standards, equipment, and best practices.
• Assist team members with complex, high-priority, or time-sensitive orders as needed.
• Troubleshoot shipping issues and escalate order, system, equipment, or carrier issues to management when necessary.
• Coordinate with Production and other departments to ensure completed orders move efficiently through the shipping process.
• Monitor and maintain shipping supplies, equipment, and work areas.
• Ensure packages are properly prepared and meet carrier requirements.
• Assist with carrier pickups and ensure shipments are ready according to scheduled pickup times.
• Identify opportunities to improve shipping processes, efficiency, accuracy, and overall workflow.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
