Job summary
Arvato is seeking a Team Lead to manage daily Shipping department operations in a fast-paced distribution center. You will oversee paperwork, track performance, and uphold safety, organization, and cleanliness in the shipping area.
The role requires proven shipping experience, strong leadership, problem-solving ability, and proficiency with MS Office. Availability for overtime, holidays, weekends, and shift flexibility is essential.
Qualifications
- Proven shipping/receiving experience in a fast-paced DC environment.
- Demonstrated leadership and the ability to manage a team.
- Ability to solve problems, plan, and stay organized under pressure.
- Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a warehouse.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Shipping department.
- Track performance and attendance for shipping personnel.
- Ensure safety, organization, and cleanliness in the area.
- Support process improvements and enforce 7s standards.
- Manage overtime, holidays, weekends, and varying shifts as needed.
- Handle all paperwork related to received merchandise.
