Job summary

Staples is seeking a Shipping Associate to deliver exceptional customer service while assisting customers with shipping needs and unpackaged returns in-store. You will work in a collaborative, fast-paced retail atmosphere and be part of a team that values inclusivity and efficiency.

Responsibilities include handling all full‑serve shipping and returns, engaging customers, and presenting shipping options. Flexibility with schedule and duties, including potential online pickup support, is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to engage with customers and understand their needs to drive additional sales.
• Flexibility to adapt to store needs and duties as assigned.
• Ability to lift/push/move materials up to 100 pounds.
• Strong attention to detail and organization, with the ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Full-Serve Shipping and Unpackaged Returns activities, including customer engagement and preparing packages for pick-up for 3rd party carriers.
• Provide strong customer service for returns and shipments (UPS, Amazon, etc.).
• Explain shipping options and identify customer needs for shipping services.
• Maintain shipping area for efficient processing and storage of packages and supplies.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to create a positive store environment.
• Be adaptable to other duties such as online pick-ups or cleaning.
