Job summary

Cadrex is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Associate I to manage shipping/receiving responsibilities as defined, ensuring accurate data entry and movement of products at our site in Massachusetts.

You will receive, inspect, label, and package materials, load/unload trucks, process shipments with carriers, and use ERP and Microsoft Office to track inventory, receipts, and shipments. This role requires attention to detail and effective communication with purchasing.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' related experience in a high-volume manufacturing setting preferred
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to read and interpret prints and work orders
• Attention to detail and quality
• Previous Forklift Experience
• Computer Skills including Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, sort, label, and package materials and shipments
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Process shipments through FedEx, UPS, and other carriers
• Schedule pickups and prepare shipping documentation
• Use ERP and Microsoft Office systems to track inventory, shipments, and receipts
• Verify receiving paperwork, certifications, and purchase orders
• Perform basic quality and inventory checks; report discrepancies
• Organize inventory and storage locations for accuracy and space optimization
• Identify and handle different material types appropriately
• Run shipping and receiving reports as needed
• Communicate with purchasing with any questions or discrepancies on PO's
