Job summary

ebm-papst in Farmington, CT is seeking a Shipping Office Supervisor to lead the daily shipping office operations and serve as the central communications hub for inbound/outbound activities. Qualifications

Associate’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.
3+ years in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or shipping operations.
Experience leading or supervising employees.
Strong understanding of transportation planning and carrier management.
Excellent organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the Shipping Office team and transportation activities.
Monitor Shipping Office and transportation KPIs and drive improvements.
Coordinate shipment planning with 3PLs, carriers, and forwarders.
Ensure shipping documentation accuracy and compliance.
Serve as central communication hub between Sales, Customer Relations, Production Planning, and Warehouse Operations.
