Job summary

ebm-papst Inc. in Farmington, CT seeks a Logistics Coordinator to manage day-to-day coordination and communication of escalated customer shipments, inventory discrepancies, data entry, and reporting for the Receiving team.

You will serve as the main point of contact for Sales and Customer Experience, handle shipment inquiries, verify inventory in SAP, coordinate with the warehouse to ship orders, and provide daily updates on orders and delays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or 2+ years of related experience.
• Experience with an ERP system (SAP preferred).
• Familiarity with HTS codes and Incoterms.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
• Strong communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as main contact for commercial teams to elevate shipment needs and order inquiries.
• Field shipment-related inquiries via email in a timely and professional manner.
• Locate and confirm inventory availability in SAP to support open customer orders.
• Coordinate with the warehouse team to prioritize, pick, pack, and ship orders, including expedited/air-freight orders.
• Provide daily updates to commercial teams on orders shipped and planned to ship, including delays or exceptions.
• Verify quantities against packing slips and shipping documentation.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and work to resolve them with other departments.
• Clean up Receiving area reports.
