Job summary

Midland Garage Door in West Fargo, ND is seeking a Shipping Associate to join a three-to-four person shipping team. You will hand load sections and hardware into trailers following shipping instructions, ensuring accuracy and safety.

The role operates on a day shift (7:30am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday) with occasional overtime and a starting wage of $24 per hour. Applicants must pass pre-employment drug testing and background checks, and a High School diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required; 1 year manufacturing experience preferred.
• Able to read and interpret orders and shipping instructions.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently hand load sections into trailers as part of a 3-4 person team.
• Identify and locate correct orders; transfer to trailer staging area.
• Pre-pull product (springs, track, struts, vinyl) as needed and follow shipping instructions.
• Use hand or power tools when required and adhere to safety protocols.
• Maintain order accuracy and quality to minimize mistakes.

Summary

The primary function of this position is to safely and effectively work in a team of 3-4 following shipping instructions to hand load sections, track, hardware etc. into the appropriate trailers.

Essential Duties

1. Know all the products associated with an order.
2. Find correct orders and transfer to trailer staging area.
3. Pre-pull product (E.g., springs, track, struts, vinyl).
4. Use safe lifting/loading procedures to manually load product onto trailers.
5. Use hand/power tools when needed.

Education and Experience

High School or GED required, and 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred or; an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential responsibilities and duties as listed above.
