Job summary

Midland Garage Door is seeking a Loading/Shipping Associate to join a small team and safely hand load orders into trailers, following shipping instructions. A starting wage of $21/hour with day shift Monday-Friday supports dependable, hands-on work in a growing garage door business.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required; 1 year manufacturing experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely hand load products into trailers according to shipping instructions.

Loading/Shipping Associate

Day Shift: 7:30am-4:00pm Monday-Friday

Starting Wage: $21/HR

We are looking for Loading/Shipping Associates to join our team.

Summary:

The primary function of this position is to safely and effectively work in a team of 3-4 following shipping instructions to hand load sections, track, hardware etc. into the appropriate trailers.

Essential Duties:

1. Know all the products associated with an order.
2. Find correct orders and transfer to trailer staging area.
3. Pre-pull product (E.g., springs, track, struts, vinyl).
4. Use safe lifting/loading procedures to manually load product onto trailers.
5. Use hand/power tools when needed.

Education and Experience:

High School or GED required, and 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred or; an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential responsibilities and duties as listed above.
