Job summary

Midland Garage Door is seeking a Loading/Shipping Associate to safely hand load product sections and hardware into trailers as part of a 3-4 person team. The role follows established shipping instructions and requires safe lifting and use of basic tools in a fast-paced environment.

Starting wage is $21 per hour with occasional overtime and weekend shifts. Candidates must pass pre-employment drug tests and background checks and be authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required; manufacturing experience preferred or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret orders and follow shipping instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely hand load sections, track, and hardware into trailers according to shipping instructions.

Loading /Shipping Associate

Day Shift: 7:30am-4:00pm Monday-Friday

Starting Wage: $21/HR

We are looking for Loading/Shipping Associates to join our team.

Summary

The primary function of this position is to safely and effectively work in a team of 3-4 following shipping instructions to hand load sections, track, hardware etc. into the appropriate trailers.

Essential Duties

1. Know all the products associated with an order.
2. Find correct orders and transfer to trailer staging area.
3. Pre-pull product (E.g., springs, track, struts, vinyl).
4. Use safe lifting/loading procedures to manually load product onto trailers.
5. Use hand/power tools when needed.

  Education and Experience:
  High School or GED required, and 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred or; an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential responsibilities and duties as listed above.
