Job summary

Midland Garage Door is seeking a Loading/Shipping Associate to join a small team and safely load products for trailer shipments. The role operates in a fast-paced environment with a 7:30am–4:00pm Monday–Friday schedule, and occasional overtime or weekend shifts.

Day Shift: 7:30am-4:00pm Monday-Friday

Summary

The primary function of this position is to safely and effectively work in a team of 3-4 following shipping instructions to hand load sections, track, hardware etc. into the appropriate trailers.

Essential Duties

1. Know all the products associated with an order.
2. Find correct orders and transfer to trailer staging area.
3. Pre-pull product (E.g., springs, track, struts, vinyl).
4. Use safe lifting/loading procedures to manually load product onto trailers.
5. Use hand/power tools when needed.

Education and Experience

High School or GED required, and 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred or; an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential responsibilities and duties as listed above.
