Job summary

Midland Garage Door is seeking Loading/Shipping Associates to join our team. The role operates in a small crew, loading orders per shipping instructions onto trailers and tracking components safely.

Day shift 7:30am-4:00pm Monday-Friday, with occasional overtime and weekend shifts. Starting wage is $21 per hour. The company has 45+ years in the garage door industry and offers growth in a stable environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship available.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and operate hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Know products and locate orders from shipping instructions.
• Pre-pull products for orders (springs, track, struts, vinyl).

Loading/Shipping Associate

We are looking for Loading/Shipping Associates to join our team.

Summary

The primary function of this position is to safely and effectively work in a team of 3-4 following shipping instructions to hand load sections, track, hardware etc. into the appropriate trailers.

Essential Duties

1. Know all the products associated with an order.
2. Find correct orders and transfer to trailer staging area.
3. Pre-pull product (E.g., springs, track, struts, vinyl).
4. Use safe lifting/loading procedures to manually load product onto trailers.
5. Use hand/power tools when needed.

Education and Experience

High School or GED required, and 1 year experience in a manufacturing environment preferred or; an equivalent combination of education and experience to successfully perform the essential responsibilities and duties as listed above.
