Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 3 years of current experience in international shipping; agriculture experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping regulations is a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and logistics systems (ERP, shipping software).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to identify and solve shipping issues quickly.
• Basic math skills for freight calculations and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all domestic and international shipments, including ocean, trucking, and multi-modal transport, to ensure on-time delivery.
• Work with carriers, freight forwarders, ports, and vendors to schedule shipments and secure competitive rates.
• Prepare, review, and manage all shipping documentation, including export filings, customs paperwork, labeling, and billing documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with international regulations.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure products are prepared for shipment, including scheduling fumigation and meeting food safety requirements.
• Manage inbound and outbound shipments, including harvest products, supplies, and by-products, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Track shipments and provide regular status updates, resolving issues to avoid delays or errors.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and other departments to support contracts, sample shipments, and overall logistics execution.
• Maintain strong communication with internal teams, customers, service providers, and regulatory agencies.
• Perform other duties as needed
