Job summary

XPO in Garland, TX is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support shipments and client inquiries. You will bill shipments, handle documentation, provide rate quotes, and resolve tariff discrepancies, with emphasis on accuracy and service.

We value 2 years of customer service experience, strong computer and typing skills, MS Office proficiency, and flexibility to work days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• 2 years of customer service experience.
• Strong computer, typing and 10-key skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Bill shipments according to applicable tariffs and pricing agreements.
• Recognize and resolve documentation errors.
• Assist customers with inquiries, including tracing shipments, rate quotes, tariff discrepancies and billing and invoicing questions.
• Perform general clerical duties as assigned, including answering and directing phone calls, filing, data entry and billing.
• Process over, short and damaged freight and related documentation for customer resolution.
• Walk and/or stand for extended periods on a loading dock that may be slippery and not climate-controlled.
