Job summary

The Hornblower Group in Chicago is seeking a friendly Server to provide exceptional hospitality onboard our vessel. You will greet guests, take orders, serve food and beverages, process payments, and maintain cleanliness and safety in dining areas.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, at least one year in a high-volume restaurant, and be able to work nights, weekends and holidays. Training includes RESPECT service standards and vessel safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year experience in high-volume restaurant preferred.
• Must meet minimum state age requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional hospitality to guests and coworkers as prescribed in our service systems, RESPECT.
• Greet guests and serve food and beverages in a timely fashion.
• Accurately take orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system. (TOAST)
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of all common areas and service stations.
• Be prepared to begin work at the scheduled time.
• Maintain uniform and personal grooming in compliance with appearance standards.
