Hornblower Corp in Boston is seeking an enthusiastic Server to provide outstanding hospitality aboard our vessel, greeting guests, delivering food and beverages, and guiding guests through menus and service pace. You will work in a high-volume dining environment, require physical stamina for long shifts, and be available for nights, weekends, and major holidays.

Prior restaurant experience preferred; strong customer service and teamwork are essential.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year experience in high-volume restaurant preferred.
• Will work for extended periods without sitting.
• Required to lift furniture and heavy items such as dishes up and down stairs.
• Must meet minimum state age requirements.
• Strong customer service, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Maintain a high level of organization and meet deadlines.
• Handle multiple tasks and projects at once.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships as required by job responsibility.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites and basic computer skills.

• Provide exceptional hospitality to guests and coworkers according to RESPECT service standards.
• Greet guests and serve food and beverages promptly.
• Accurately take orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of all dining areas and service stations.
• Support entertainment experiences and guest engagement.
• Set up and break down dining areas and service stations; move furniture when needed.
• Accurately collect payments from guests for onboard purchases.
• Provide information to guests about menus, service order, entertainment options, cruise route and points of interest.
• Be prepared to begin work at scheduled time.
• Maintain uniform and personal grooming per appearance standards.
• Assist with warm greeting and seating of guests on arrival.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
