Job summary

American Cruise Lines, the largest U.S. cruise company, is hiring Servers for the 2026 season. You will work aboard for up to 28 weeks in our shipboard hotel and restaurant, delivering outstanding hospitality and representing the brand.

This introductory hospitality role includes travel with the crew, room and board, uniforms, and training. The position is temporary, with additional opportunities within the company for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old and a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder.
• Pre-employment drug test required for shipboard employees.
• Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited while on duty.
• Grooming standards apply (tattoos/piercings restrictions).
• Temporary employment not to extend beyond 28 weeks onboard.
• Opportunity to apply for future management positions; not guaranteed.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience.
• Set up and break down breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktail hour.
• Cater to culinary requests efficiently and relay orders to galley.
• Acknowledge guests by name, escort to tables, present menus, and suggest items.
• Serve courses and beverages; ensure presentation and garnishes are correct.
• Assist with embarkation greeting, afternoon teas, snacks, and evening entertainment as needed.
