Job summary

American Cruise Lines is hiring shipboard Servers for the 2026 season. You will work in our shipboard hotel and restaurant, delivering outstanding hospitality and representing our brand.

This is a temporary role for up to 28 weeks with all major living expenses covered aboard. Responsibilities include providing an elegant dining experience, setting up and breaking down service areas, and assisting with embarkation duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the United States.
• U.S. citizen or Green Card holder.
• Pre-employment drug testing is required.
• Temporary shipboard position up to 28 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience.
• Set up and break down breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktail hour; arrange tables, linen, silverware, china and glassware.
• Acknowledge guests by name, escort to tables, present menus, suggest items and answer menu questions.
• Relay orders to galley and serve courses and beverages, ensuring presentation and garnishes.
• May assist with greeting guests on embarkation, serving afternoon teas, snacks, and evening entertainment.
