Job summary

American Cruise Lines, the largest U.S. cruise company, is hiring servers for the 2026 season to work aboard our ships in a hotel and restaurant role. This is a 28-week, temporary position focused on delivering outstanding hospitality as a proud brand representative.

You will support guests across dining services, participate in deck-to-dinner duties, and join a team dedicated to sharing America’s story on our fleet of ships.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• U.S. citizen or Green Card holder.
• Pre-employment drug test required.
• Alcohol service restrictions apply during shifts.
• Temporary 28-week shipboard assignment.
• Grooming standards apply; tattoos/piercings restrictions.
• Ability to work in a fast paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience.
• Set up and break down breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktail service areas.
• Cater to culinary requests efficiently.
• Acknowledge guests by name and guide them to tables, present menus, and suggest items.
• Relay orders to the galley and serve courses and beverages.
• May perform additional duties such as greeting guests on embarkation and serving teas and snacks.
