American Cruise Lines, the largest USA flagged cruise line in the United States, is seeking an Assistant Hotel Manager to support the Hotel Manager aboard our vessels for the 2027 season. You will supervise the shipboard hotel management team and ensure service standards, guest satisfaction, and safe operations.

The role covers dining, housekeeping, guest services, shore excursions, and crew training, with a focus on gracious hospitality, leadership, and accountability.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
• Minimum 3 years management in full-service hotel/resort/cruise ship.
• Strong English communication; proficient with MS Office; able to travel.

Aufgaben

• Supervise Housekeeping Manager and Guest Service Coordinator under Hotel Manager.
• Assist Hotel Manager and Dining Room Manager during service times.
• Perform duties of Hotel GM when off ship 1-2 times weekly.
• Prepare turnover and handoff of duties during time off.
• Ensure cleanliness of staterooms and public spaces; supervise inspections.
• Oversee bar operations and manage wine/liquor inventory.
• Lead crew orientation, scheduling, and discipline; train staff.
• Assist with onboard events and guest service delivery.
• Maintain shipboard accounting, timecards, and home office reporting.
