Job summary

American Cruise Lines, the largest USA flagged cruise line, seeks an Assistant Hotel Manager to join our shipboard team for the 2026 season. You will support the Hotel Manager in delivering exceptional guest experiences across dining, housekeeping, and guest services on our predominantly US-flagged vessels.

Responsibilities include supervising Hotel Department staff, assisting in meal services, ensuring adherence to procedures, and maintaining service standards while resourcing crew and managing

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Housekeeping Manager and Guest Service Coordinator under the Hotel Manager.
• Assist the Hotel Manager as directed.
• Assist Dining Room Manager during all meal services.
• Perform duties of Hotel General Manager when GM is off ship 1–2 times per week.
• Prepare with Hotel Manager for turnover and handoff of duties during scheduled time off.
• Present and available during all meal services and oversee front/back of house operations.
