Job summary

American Cruise Lines is seeking an Assistant Hotel Manager to join our shipboard team for the 2026 season. The role supports the Hotel Manager in supervising the hotel department, ensuring service excellence and guest satisfaction aboard our US-flagged ships.

Responsibilities include overseeing housekeeping, guest services, training, and coordinating meal services, plus assisting with turnover, crew management, and daily inspections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in hospitality management or Hotel & Restaurant Management.
• Minimum 3 years management experience at a full-service hotel, resort, or cruise ship.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• US Coast Guard regulated pre-employment drug test and TWIC.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Housekeeping Manager and Guest Service Coordinator, at the direction of the Hotel Manager.
• Assists Hotel Manager as directed.
• Performs duties of Hotel General Manager when Hotel General Manager is off ship 1-2 times per week.
• Oversees hotel operations and ensures service standards across dining, housekeeping, guest services, and training.
• Maintains discipline and ensures crew and guest satisfaction in line with company procedures.
