Job summary

American Cruise Lines is seeking a Hotel General Manager to oversee all hotel operations aboard our ships, ensuring premier guest experiences from dining to housekeeping. You will supervise the hotel leadership team, enforce service standards, and coordinate food service, guest services, and onboard events.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in hotel or F&B management, a business or hospitality degree, and willingness to live aboard for extended cruises while meeting demanding travel and scheduling

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hotel or food and beverage management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or hospitality management preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willing to live and work aboard the ship.
• Ability to travel and work long hours on a cruise schedule.

Responsibilities

• Supervise hotel management team and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Ensure adherence to service standards for dining, housekeeping, and guest services.
• Manage shipboard inventories, budgeting, and reporting to home office.
• Lead staff to meet weekly sales goals and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Coordinate shipboard events, meals, and guest experiences.
