Job summary

American Cruise Lines is seeking a Hotel General Manager to lead the shipboard hotel team and manage guest experience, housekeeping, and food service operations. You will supervise hotel management and act as the primary ambassador to guests, upholding high service standards.

The role requires living aboard, coordinating with officers and the Executive Chef, and guiding staff to deliver exceptional hospitality on every voyage.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hotel or food and beverage management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or hospitality management preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Willing to live and work aboard the ship.
• Ability to meet moderate physical demands and work extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Assistant Hotel Manager, Housekeeping Manager, Restaurant Manager, Cruise Director and more.
• Ensure adherence to American Cruise Lines’ standards and procedures.
• Oversee shipboard hotel and food service operations, guest services and training.
• Manage crew performance and conduct, including daily inspections and feedback.
• Direct shipboard staffing to meet sales and service goals.
