Job summary

American Cruise Lines, the largest USA-flagged cruise line, seeks a Hotel General Manager to lead shipboard hotel operations, guest services, housekeeping, and food service as part of the 2026 season.

You will supervise the hotel management team, ensure service standards, compliance with procedures, and create memorable guest experiences while balancing crew welfare and ship safety. This role requires long hours aboard and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction across itineraries.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hotel or food & beverage management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or hospitality management preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shipboard hotel management team and departments (Housekeeping, Restaurant, Guest Services).
• Ensure service standards and procedures are followed across dining, catering, and guest services.
• Assess and provide corrective feedback to management team and crew.
• Manage inventories, budgets, and shipboard operations for hotel and food services.
• Coordinate with Executive Chef to ensure timely ordering and delivery of supplies.
• Maintain cleanliness and guest safety while delivering superior guest experiences.
