Job summary

American Cruise Lines, the largest USA flagged cruise line, is seeking a Hotel General Manager for the 2026 season aboard our ships. You will oversee guest experience, hospitality, housekeeping, and food service operations, leading the shipboard hotel team and representing the company to guests.

Responsibilities include ensuring dining standards, managing inventories, crew training, and maintaining safety and service excellence while delivering memorable cruises on our domestic itineraries.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hotel or food and beverage management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or hospitality management preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willing to live and work aboard the ship.
• US Coast Guard pre-employment drug testing compliance required.
• Ability to travel and work long hours on a cruise schedule.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the hotel management team and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Oversee dining, housekeeping, and guest services operations on the ship.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, service standards and safety policies.
• Manage inventories, budgets, and shipboard financial reporting.
• Lead staff to meet goals and provide guest-focused service.
