Job summary

American Cruise Lines seeks a dynamic Cruise & Excursions Director to lead guest interaction aboard our ships for the 2026 season. You will design and run entertainment, enrichment activities and shore excursions, while collaborating with vendors and the Home Office.

Based on a hybrid role with daily presentations, coordination of ports of call, and a focus on upselling premium experiences, you’ll ensure a memorable guest experience across destinations on our small-ship fleet.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, tourism, or event management preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Enthusiasm, confidence and can-do attitude.
• Strong public speaking skills.
• Strong social and presentation abilities.
• TWIC credential.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and execute engaging entertainment and activity programs.
• Communicate with guests via daily programs and PA system.
• Be extraordinarily well‑versed in the cruising region, ports of call and excursions offered.
• Coordinate and confirm all shore excursions, explorations, adventures and transfers.
• Oversee vendor communications and inventory management.
• Promote on-board sales and brand loyalty.
• Meet and greet entertainers and review scheduling.
• Report to Home Office on cruise status and guest issues.
